Shigeru Miyamoto, beloved creator of Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and other key Nintendo franchises has expressed his concern with constant overflow of games that focus on guns. I personally agree with Miyamoto, because their are too many shooters that look identical and it's starting to oversaturate the market and change it for the worst. What are your thoughts? I say variety and innovation are the keys to the future of gaming.

I cant believe HE fixed his mouth to even form the word oversaturation!! REALLY?? HIM?? Mr. Mario every second i turn around. is ANY charachter or idea is overused in gaming its Mario and his band of merry makeovers!!! Why is it a problem when we have a lot of shooters out but its okay when Nintendo releases 30 marios at once??!! Plus he takes a shallow look at these games and denies them the decency of a more critical look into the material. What im saying is just because the game has guns in it doesnt necessarilly make it gun porn!! They are not all just mindless drones with guns just killing for the hell of it!! Yes you have those. You see EVERY mario game is not about saving the princess and i know that because i engage these games critically and give them the benefit of the doubt but Mr. Miyamoto has done the genre a diservice. I find those comments arrogant, misleading, misinformed, and finally fearful. He should know better!! I expected more from one of the Founding Fathers of gaming. so until we catch up....

You just shoved a mountain of words in miyamotos mouth for the soul purpose of attacking mario. Typical. And i should have posted a link to rhe article. He is simply stating that there are a lot of shooters and sometimes its even hard to tell them apart from one another. And for the record, amazingly COD has more games out than mario this gen, including spinoff sporrs titles.
